I am going to order the aero kit soon. and I found out that they have offered the license plate carrier on the catalog. Will the carrier from my stock bumper fit on the aero kit bumper? thanx

it won't fit, as the mounting points are diffrent. you should get the holder.

On my MCS the front license plate carrier is screwed directly to the front bumper. It rides fairly high up and blocks part of the upper front bumper grille. So on my MCS I lowered the plate one notch and attached the carrier a bit lower so the bonnet grille is not blocked.

My MCS with lowered stock carrier on stock front bumper. Note how the license plate is lower revealing the grille on the bumper.

Here is an MCS with standard license plate position which covers the upper bumper grill.

On the aero kit the front carrier plate is different in that it mounts lower than the stock carrier and also doesn't block the front bonnet grille. I would say that the aero license carrier fits better for the aero bumper.

I have both the standard plate holder and the aero kit one. They have different contours to accommodate the difference in the shape between the standard bumper and aero kit bumper. As Minihune mentioned, the aerokit holder sits lower, revealing the upper bumper grille.

You can easily modify the standard plate holder to fit the aero kit bumper. The only issue I see is at high speed, the lower portion of the bracket might not have support. Let me try to explain this. With the oncoming wind, the lower portion of the plate can get pushed back and possibly forcing the upper screws out over time, although not likely IMO. Whereas the aerokit plate holder, the lower portion is totally flushed against the lower grille.

If you're getting the entire aero kit, the plate holder should come with it, as mine did.

Did you lower your plate for visual or performance reasons. With it lower won't it block more of the air flow to the lower grile, which has more function than the upper?
