R53 CEL... Can I ask a favor?

Hey everyone, just got my car back after having a new Thumper TPR-1 ported and polished head installed After driving it for a few days, my CEL came on. Any ideas what could cause it? Maybe change the oil and filter because of the new head? Anyways, my question is this... is there anyone in the San Diego area near 32nd street naval base that has a diagnostic tool I could use to figure out what's goin on? Any help is appreciated, thanks guys!

Auto parts store should be able to read the code for you. Just be sure to write down the actual code so someone can help you from there.

Most auto parts stores let you use them for free. Just go to an autozone or something and ask to use it to check the code, no need to buy one.
