So yesterday, the weirdest thing, I searched around and didnt find any answers,...
so me and my girl comming from the club, I went to put the key in, and all off a sudden as soon as I put the key in and pressed the ignition, eveything went completely dead. Key locked in ignition but no power....spent spent several minutes "WTF"ing. My girl got in and as soon as she popped the hood so I could look under the bonnet, all power came back.....

Your thoughts cuz I'm lost.....

 

Check your battery terminals and make sure they are tight.

 

nah,... they were snug, that was my first suspicion. It was 36 degrees last nighjt but I dont know if that had any thing to do with it.

is there a sensor that I'm not aware of that has anything to do with it?

Well, if it happens again, you are still under warranty which is a good thing. Maybe someone else has some info for ya.

 

Is the car equipped with an ignition interlock system with a breathalyzer?

No doubt that fixed it.
