Are they in fact "carbon fiber gas caps" or just wrapped?

 

I'm pretty positive they're vinyl wrapped. That's what Lyle does...and does well.

They are wrapped, its very nice but in my experience nothing holds up in the Florida sunshine for long. Had a bonnet scoop done and it was not worth it. The real deal will keep you happy for a much longer time. Not knocking the man or his business it is quality all the way, but if you can afford the real deal CF do it.

 

didnt order the CF ones but I just placed an order throught lyle and i can not tell you how excited I am to get alll the chrome off my car ... I have seen his work in person and its one of the best, reason why im having my parts wrapped 2500 + miles away ... KUDOS !!

Thanks for the props, Sly! I was torn between MB and CR for quite a while. Obviously, I went black in the end, but all I knew was that I wanted black and red together (hence my stripes and S decals). With your black roof and wheels, I'd say blacking everything out would look killa!

how do you install them? tools required? thanks

 

The install is very easy. All you need is a small flat-head screw driver.
