Electrical Help! How to lift out battery?

Help! How to lift out battery?

my car is R50. There is no any holder with battery. Who to lift it from battery box?

um, you just grab onto the sides and yank that bad boy out. You did undo the bracket holding it down right?

The R56 (2012) battery is in a compartment in front of the firewall. It has a door on it that isn't nearly as big as the battery. It almost looks like it will be a major operation of removing the whole assembly to get the battery out. When I looked at it, I said to myself "I hope that thing lasts for a very long time!"

I just lifted it out of the battery box by the edges starting with my fingertips (2003 R50).
Hard but not too hard.
You could clamp a vice-grip to one or both terminals to lift a little and get a start onholding the sides better if you like.

Be careful not to short the tools together or touch body work to both.
