2011 COUNTRYMAN S cannot hold a charge overnight
I have a 2011 S Manual that for the past 2 nights cannot hold a charge. The first morning, I thought a fluke so I called roadside and had them jump it - drove around all day multiple trips and stops and this morning wouldn't turn over. Will have to flat bed it to MINI.
Question, do I need to accompany it to MINI? If so do I automatically get a loaner to get home?
Will update later as to the problem. Back to back meetings today and cannot deal with getting it towed until 3.

I accompanied my CM to the dealer when it had the no-start thermostat condition. The dealer was more than happy to supply a loaner car.
If you have the time, I would go with the car, if only to be sure you comunicate the problem to them accurately.

As long as the repair is warranty related, they should be cooperative in supplying a loaner. The catch is that it may not be a MINI. My dealership group also has a Nissan store and it supplies the loaners. First time I got a Versa, second time a Sentra. Two of the least satisfying cars I've ever driven - don't know how they manage to sell them.
do you have a scangauge hooked up to it? i've read another poster who had one and it was draining the battery i.e., not allowing the CM to power down completely.

I have a scangauge hooked to my Countryman for the past 8 months, No issue with my battery.
Ignoring the loaner question, my wife had a similar battery problem with her C6 Corvette.
It is not her Daily Driver so it could sit a few weeks between trips.
Car was ~4 years old
Battery was flat one day.
Charged all day and car started fine.
Next morning, battery was again flat.
Replaced the battery with a Yellow Top Optima and that was flat the next morning.
Had AAA flatbed the car to the dealer.
They checked out the car, found nothing wrong, installed a new OEM battery, set aside the Optima for me to collect when we came for the car and called to say come and get it.
A little later, they called back saying to hold off.
A tech passing by the car noticed the rear defroster indicator light was on.
Seems there was a problem with the module controlling the rear defroster that caused it to randomly cycle on and off. This was killing the battery.
Module was replaced and all is well.
Even got lot lucky as the Optima we purchased for the car fit my Jeep when that battery failed a few months later.
