Props to Mini of Concord
It seems that there are more "my dealer did something bad" threads, so I thought I would write a nice one.
Shortly after taking delivery of my CM4, I noticed a slight vibration at freeway (65+ MPH) speeds. If I took my hands off the wheel, I could see it shake back and forth rapidly. Minor, but this is a $40K car. It should not do this.
So I called the dealer, and their senior tech took it out on the road with me. He noticed the vibration as well, though he said it was slight. They balanced the wheels and it no longer vibrates. So good customer service there.
When I got home and reviewed the paperwork, I noticed it said they tightened the wheel bolts to 80 ft·lb. This is wrong; the CM is 103 ft·lb. I emailed the person that had sent me the "please take our survey" email, asking if this was a mistake. A few days later, she called me back and offered to send somebody out to the car to check the wheel bolts. Wow! That was impressive. I told her I would check the bolts that night and let her know; that is easier than trying to figure out where my wife has the car and coordinating with the dealer. It turns out that the wheel bolts where tightened correctly. It was just a typo on the service paperwork.
So good job, Mini of Concord. Your service so far has been exceptional.

Actually had a great experience with my MA, Danny Andrade. I had a question about the hill assist, and he actually emailed me copies of the pages in the service manual that detailed the way it works. Very helpful, and gave me the exact info I needed to figure out the answer to my question. Overall, they have been very good.

I'll throw out a

for Mini of Pensacola as well. They've been great with me. Performed 2 fixes and right the first time. Installed some after markets items for me. Checked the car out inside and out since I had bought it used from a non-Mini dealer. Explain anything they do or it needs. Work around my time frame. Excellent service dept.
