Flat repair "goop" ruins the TPMS on 08 MCS?

Hi all:

Surly's new tires, next question...

So, I replaced my runflats with new Envigors a coupla days ago, but now, what to do in case of a flat?

I have an 08 MCS, and do not want to carry a donut. I have a AAA membership, but what about some slimy, goopy stuff?

I've been told that filling a tire with goop will ruin the TPMS - is that true?

What are folk doing to be prepared for a flat?

Thx

Better off safe than sorry. Get a plug kit and carry it in the car with a small 12v pump. No need for the nasty slimey stuff that may or may not ruin a sensor.
