So my 2007 mcs ipod interface doesn't seem to agree with the ipod touch that I hooked up. The ipod touch says "charging not supported..." but seems to hook up, but there's no indication of the mini stereo actually picking up that it's there. Also my RDS has been a little strange since I picked up the car, it only displays info for maybe 1 radio station about 80% of the time. The other presets I have don't display anything but the station ID aka "DC101." And finally my third question, on an mp3 cd, how do you skip forward to the next random track, not just the next track on the cd without throwing it out of random mode? Thanks for the advice everyone.

 

get a different interface cable as there are a couple of different gen types...I had the same problem. I went to the MINI dealer and they tried a different one that worked immediately. They gave it to me free and took my old one back.
