Frustrated...

Wonder if any of you have had luck similar to mine...

Ran out of gas at day 21 and had to be towed to dealership (Dealership said not to believe trip odometer but did reset computer);

Typical issues with iPhone and MINI Connected;

Hit my old lady in parking lot at 31 days (her insurance denied claim - imagine that!);

Lost driver side headlight beam at 40 days (covered under warranty);

Last week, hard starting in the morning and CEL came on just before 20K miles; needs new thermostat as well as brakes!

Love my R60 but everyone at my dealership knows me by my first name and I feel like I should be getting a pay check for the hours spent there...

Anyone else having "experiences" like this?

My girlfriend's All4 has had over 12,000 merry miles. No issues at all. Sorry your experience has been so rough.

wow only issue my wifes car has had is the tires needing air after the weather got cooler. From what I have seen on this site is that either a car has a lot of issues or it has none.

Hope everything gets resolved in your case

Have had mine for almost 3 months and it is about to hit 6000 on my Countryman non-S and it has already seen a flatbed once. It got a CEL for overheating, in which they replaced the thermostat. I noticed that the MPG's started tanking and then the fans came on and stayed on in 40* weather, then the CEL popped. After they fixed it I got my normal MPG's again, but now they are going back down so I am a little worried.

Besides this and the failing trim I haven't had any other problems. I am hoping it stays that way.

I took delivery 03/29/11 and have not had one issue at all with the vehicle. I have almost 15,000 miles and motor her hard every day. I haven't driven in the snow, but can't wait. I hope everything works out for you.

I got a scan gauge II hooked up which shows the temp, volt, boost and hp. The fan goes on around 240ish

How many miles did it say when you ran out of gas?

I'd love to hear that phone call to her insurance lol

9000 trouble free miles(knock on wood). The gas thing, not sure about everyone esle, but my daughter and I make it a game to see how close to "E" we can get before pulling into the gas station. Has been 100% dead on each time........good luck, mine must have been a Mid-week car!

Mine was reading 246* on a cold start according to the dealership. I guess that is why the fans came on pretty much instantly and didn't turn off for a while after you shut it off.

I had 2 fill ups at around 28mpg, I was getting 30-32 so I figured maybe they switched to winter gas. Then we filled up again and were driving around looking at new cars for my husband I noticed the the fans coming on and that I only got 30miles on 1 candy corn worth of gas. Normally it was a lot higher then that like 2x as much. We didn't even make it home and the CEL came on.

So 2 tanks worth of slightly lower mileage, so lets say 2 weeks or so. Then a huge mileage drop and a day or so later the fans stayed on. A few hours after that the yellow CEL. The morning after that no light for 1 mile, yellow light for about 20 seconds and red CEL after that. I drove it home less than a mile and let it sit until the tow truck came about an hour later, the light was back to yellow by then.

my CM all4 got towed back to the dealer. When I stopped for coffee fri morning I hear the fan on (outside temp 40 ). When I got in and looked at my ScanGauge II it read 418, engine light also came on. I did notice my last two fill up only getting less then 200 per tank.

ScanGause showed error code: P173B

It turned out to be the sensor that went bad. Which is been replaced. Rear breaks are also beem replaced ( 18k).

This CM turned out be the WORST car I own now. This will make the 6th trip to the dealer.

I had same issue with the temp. sensor on my thermostat. They just replaced it but the part is same rev. level. I hope this was a defective part and not part design!
