West coast car trucking company help??

Going to have my car trucked from Crevier Mini in Santa Ana, CA (92705) to Scottsdale,AZ (85260). Does anyone have a personal experience with a moving company to handle my baby. Open trailer is fine. It should be ready to go the 1st week of December. Any thoughts??

I used Dependable Auto Shippers to ship a car from San Jose, CA to Hartford CT. They quoted me 2 weeks, and I had my car in 8 days. They were easy to work with and my car was perfect when I picked it up. They will deliver to your door, but there's an extra fee, or you can pick it up at one of their stations at no additional cost. Their website will probably tell you where there closest station is to you.

edit: they also have GPS on all their trucks that refreshes every hour...so you can to watch your car come to you. lol

Rock chips are easy, dollar store and contact paper! Zero miles, that's tough since they stopped speedo cables!

My buddy had his delivered from socal to FL. What I found out is that most of these trucking companies are brokers who contract out to real delivery trucking. They all probably use the same reliable people for delivery. Just give the trucker a nice tip to take car of your car during delivery. Ask them what type of cars they deliver - the better or more expensive, the better.

This is why I didn't want to go through a broker. They might drop your car off in a parking lot for another trucker to come pick it up. They are cheaper...but for a reason. The Dependable Auto Shippers company I listed is not a broker, they move the cars with their own trucks and the move high end cars too (they have enclosed trailers as an option, or you can even elect to have you car on the top of the trailer too I think.) I was paranoid having my car come 3000 miles without me. lol

I shipped my Maserati from Maine to Seattle. Getting anyone to pick it up in Maine was a problem. If I wanted to wait 6 weeks I could have used and exoitcs hauler.
I had a couple brokers working on it and they actually had a truck in the area who had an open slot heading west. They actually waited a couple of days so I could close the deal. I had the car in a week. It was also scrapped on a wheel and the rear valance. Trying to collect on their insurance was also very ugly. If I had it to do over again I would have driven it. It would have had less damage and a great way to sort a car out. Worrying about miles on a MINI is just stupid in my opinion. Who are you saving them for the next owner? Sounds like mine friends with Ferrari's. Can't put more than 10K on the car so they sit in the garage. If I am making the payment I and using up more than my fair share. Put a clear bra on the car and that will take care of most chips. I have the whole front of my car covered. Still rocks can nick the blacked out crhome and it will show through which sucks. I just have it recovered when it gets bad. Its a car, drive it. I will be buying a low mileage Ferrari at some point. Passed on a 2006 F430 6 speed car that I should have bought. Had 5K on the clock and he was eating over 50% in depreciation. His cost per mile is off the charts.
I bought my Maserati 2 yeears ago. 2005 with 10K on her. It now has 35K and has been much more trouble free than my MINI. When I wear her out I will find another
low mileage creampuff.

Phx- look at the drive as the perfect break in period, all highway shifting between 6&5.

I used Waggoner's Trucking to get my Clubman from Oxnard, CA to Denver, CO.

They were good to used especially since I required a fully-enclosed trailor.
Also, make sure to find a carrier and not a broker to get your car shipped.
