any one have a pulley puller?

I have a pulley coming in the mail and can not justify buying a expensive one time use tool.
anyone willing to loan me one?

I live in Laporte now, and will come to you to pick it up and give it back.

help a poor UH student out.

thanks for your time

Cole

I am assuming that you are replacing your pulley with a smaller one for performance?? Just wondering if you were able to get that done and if you can feel the difference??

Thanks for all the replies!!! I expect to also change to a cooler running set of plugs. A software flash may also be down the road. I don't have interest in getting into the engine if it can be avoided. My last Mini was a few years back - I had a 2006 JCW car and loved it. Just wanting to make this current venture a tad more fun. One thing I notice immediately is this S doesn't have the whine that the JCW did. Guess that has something to do with the supercharger??

Also, guess it would be a good time just because but, is a shorter belt required??? If so, what size and where to source it??

You can really feel and hear the difference, I did pulley, plugs, and a shorter belt. But I do not recall the napa part number for the belt but I'm sure you can find it on alta's site.

If anyone still needs the pulley puller for an R53, let me know. I also have the belt tools for both an R53 and R50, as well as the control arm bushing tool.
