iPhone voice control

Hi

Is there a way to initiate the normal iPhone voice control feature from any of the steering wheel controls via bluetooth?

Thanks in advance.

kinda

You cannot without adding hardware. You cant really do the factory setup. It is very pricey on the OEM sites and dealer installs are thru the roof if they will do it.

What I did was I ordered a bluetooth kit from Parrott. I got mine on Amazon. Less than $60. To go with this, I got a custom wire harness from www.newministuff.com. They are in the UK and with the exchange rate, it was maybe $125-150 but then all you do is plug it in and your done. I would have bought the Parrot kit from them, but the exchange rate was just not worth it. Since they make the custom cable to make it a plug and play, you really cant beat the deal and newministuff is the best at what they do.

So, after all this I have a bluetooth setup that works great and I can use the mfsw buttons to initiate iphone 4 voice commands to dial.

You can also use the same buttons to use the voice control to play the ipod feature if u have the ipod connection aux cable to your stereo.
