Not sure how much I want to admit this, but last night I had a dream about my Mni.

It went something like this:

One day I was out driving, and a cop pulled me over. He gave me a ticket for speeding, which in my dream I wasn't actually doing. He then told me that a new law was in effect where if you speed, you get your car taken away. They proceeded to take my Mini away and give me back my old truck, which I hated.

....then I woke up. It was more of a nightmare really

Anyone else?

it went like this:

SCRAAAATTCCHHHH!!!! after a swipe on the claybar.
then i woke up. I went down stairs to make sure my claybar

Oh any every EVERY time I dream about driving a manual car... the clutch is REALLY REALLY Heavy... like I cant even push it down properly... meaning I never get to drive off the line correctly... I have to put ALL my weight and PULL hard against the steering wheel just to engage the clutch... Its soooo hard sometimes I dont bother and just shift w/out the clutch... hahahah i dont know what kinda dreams I have...

Since I run the local DEs, I don't get a chance to run my car on those days. However, I do get to run for a couple hours the day before the event to get "re-acquainted" with the track. Well, after a day on the track I went home to get a restful night's sleep. Well, it wasn't too restful as I was talking in my sleep and my gf woke me up. She asked what I was dreaming about because I was saying, "ooh, baby that's the way to do it, c'mon, more, that's the way, YES! YES! YES!" I told her I was dreaming about being on the track again. She didn't believe me!

THat's really cool. THat is the result of a sort of neural disconnect that cuts off that sort of physical movement. If Im remembering all of this properly from school, its an "intentional" genetic evolution that is there because its BAD when people sleep walk right out of their cave (house) and off of a cliff (down the stairs). So you are percieving heaviness, but actually its the inability to actuate the muscles in your legs.

I dont know tons about this by any stretch, so If i really messed up and a doctor here wants to correct me, go for it! Sorry, I've always been really interested in dreaming...

I recently had a dream in which the clutch was really heavy and when I pushed hard enough on it to fully engage it, all of my pedals came loose and fell out into the floorboard. It upset me in the dream but not enough to wake me up. So I tried to put all the pieces back together and re-attach the pedals. Concentrating so hard on all the pieces and how they fit together was what brought me out of the dream...

I started dreaming about *my* MINI shortly after deciding to get one. Mostly dreams about washing and waxing. Weird, because it' always been one of my least favorite car care activities (I'd rather change oil
