I bought a set of Sidewalk wheels that unfortuately were car waxed by the previous owner. So now the flat matte black paint is hazed with white.

How can I fully remove the wax? Is there something I can apply to them to remove? Since that paint is "textured" its hard to just buff out.

Any help appreciated

 

Never tried it on flat back wheels, but a 50/50 mixture of Isopropol Alcohol takes off wax. Maybe that and a brush will do it.

 

Get some Pre-Wow. It will not only remove the wax but it's one of the only products on the market that makes matte surfaces look new again without adding shine.
