MINI Dealer!

fotos please!!!!!!!!

Sorry! I didn't have a camera with me at the time. It's just like the one on JCW website.

------------------
>>oh a did they mention a price?

Retails: $385/wheel without center cap or kit.

-----------------
>>do they come in white?

That would be nice because I have IB/W. Unfortunately, only available in silver.

>>"steering stop retrofit kit"

What is that? Does that reduce your turning radius?

I'm not exactly sure, I'm quoting what they told me - "steering stop retrofit kit." I'll find out more details tomorrow. He did said the labor for installing the kit is 1 hr.

Download the John Cooper Works brochure to view the wheels:
JCW Brochure
I expect the price to be quite steep considering a naked R90 17" wheel is $419.00. A set of 4 R90s with performance tires is $2565.

I found out more details on the JCW wheels. The dealer only had one set available and will not sell them to me for 2 reasons:

1. The steering stop kit is not yet available
2. They want to have the set to display

BMW will be shipping the wheels and the kit to the dealerships in a few weeks (3-4), but they are currently taking orders. Meanwhile, I'll be searching for a set of performance tires for them.

How much are the seats? Do you have a part number for them? Thanks!

According to the sales person, JCW is lighter than R90, which make sense from the looks of them. When I go to the dealership Monday, I'll bring a scale to weigh the wheel. Soon, we'll know the weight.

Just ordered the wheels and the total was $1349.40 with the caps and kit. The non-runflat tires will cost additional $531.52. Total of $1880.92 for the entire setup. Not bad, I think!
