R50/53 Clock says a.m. 0:15 when it's 12:15a.m.
It's kind of a European "thing".
We Americans like to show our dates as 2/10/10 (mm/dd/yy), the European way is 10/02/04 (dd/mm/yy). They do the same kind of thing with time; my suggestion is just go with it, it's all relative anyway.
BTW If your clock happens to loose a minute per month dont't let that worry you excessively, one push of the minute button will catch you right up.

Does 1PM read 13:00? If it does then your setting is for a 24 hour clock aka military time.
No big deal. Kinda helps when you are in no condition to discern day from night.

Even if the clock is set to display 12-hour (AM-PM) time, you will still get 0:xx at midnight. It's a little quirk with the clock, it matches all the other little quirks we love and hate about our MINIs.
I thought that when it read 0:15 it was displaying the driver's Blood Alcohol Concentration!

Elbee,
Consider yourself lucky. When my clock switched from 11:59 to 0:00 I heard a loud "poof" and not only did my MINI disappear, I got covered with some kind of seed filled orange slime that looked like it came from a pumpkin or something.

Military time is so much easier. I guess because I've been using it for 19 years now. How about trying to use RADAY (Radio Day) of Julian Date? Another way the military numbers the days of the year. 001 being Jan 1, and 365 being Dec 31.
