Hey guys

I am configging a '12 JCW vert now as my daily to replace the 911, and wow, it's stuck in a crazy cash register mode during the 2012 cutover. It adds nav in 2X and a bunch of other stuff. On screen, my build is at 41k. I print it, and it's $45K! It's giving me 2 navs, which would be awesome if you want to go to two places.

Anyway, just wanted to drop this there for people like me trying to actually get a car built!

 

The same thing happened to me the other night. My MA says that MINI is working on the 2012 updating and it is probably screwing the configurator up.

I just pulled the trigger on ordering the convertible. It was my birthday yesterday and I have wanted one since they brought it out. I already have the Clubman--1st one ordered in Arizona. I won't part with Otto because he is everything I wanted. My mom and sister would like to commit me as this makes car no. 4 and Otto only has 5300 miles on him in 3-1/2 years. My problem is that I want to preserve him so I don't take him anywhere he has to be parked.

If you are ordering a 2012 convertible they have brought back Lightning Blue Metallic. I always loved that color, so that is the one I ordered this time.

Hopefully the configurator will be fixed soon.

 

They must have just aired it so there will be bugs. Give it a few days...
