The 2004 South Bend Region (SBR) SCCA has posted our schedule for the Solo II season. We have 3 regional points events and one Novice School event at The Tire Rack test track in South Bend, IN. in addition to events at Lake Michigan College and Grissom Aeroplex in Peru, IN. The Schedule is:

4/25 Points Event #1 -LMC Benton Harbor, MI
5/15 Novice School - The Tire Rack, IN
5/16 Points Event #2 - The Tire Rack, IN
6/13 Points Event #3 - LMC Benton Harbor, MI
7/18 Points Event #4 - Grissom Peru, IN
8/8 Points Event #5 - LMC Benton Harbor, MI
8/29 Points Event #6 - The Tire Rack, IN
9/26 Points Event #7 - LMC Benton Harbor, MI
10/10 Points Event #8 - The Tire Rack, IN

Come on out and join the fun. Everyone is invited to all events which are open to SCCA members and non-members alike! These are safe, well run events with 60 to 90 cars. The Tire Rack test track is tight, just right for cars like the MINI. The Tire Rack installs at the same facility on Saturdays. Pick up some new wheels and tires on Saturday and show us what you got on Sunday!

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the update. I wish INR would get things going, they haven't posted a schedule yet. It would be nice if INR could take a few clues from your club.

Chris and I are already planning to attend the novice school at the Tire Rack. We have cabin fever real bad! Have you done any mods over the winter? We haven't done anything yet, I hope to get some tires before spring.

I will be at the novice school also. No mods over the winter except I am picking up a used set of 16" x-lites from another MCO member this weekend. I hope to have a new set of 215/45/16 Falken Azenis by the first event. That is about all I can do and stay in G stock. I might get some R compound Kumhos if my tax refund is decent. I am planning on running G stock my first full season or two. It has been a long winter indeed. I am ready to run.
