Rear dry subframe replacement pics
Hi all --
I just completed replacing my rear subframe (the old one was rusted through). I bought a good quality replacement subframe and had it powdercoated gloss black. If anyone is interested in seeing the pictures I took, they are here: http://desertwave.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=14182
All in all, the project took a little over a month of calendar time. I also ended up replacing the radius arms since one had too much rust for me to be comfortable reusing. I am very happy with the result. An added bonus was that I elongated the holes in the camber brackets allowing a little bit of negative camber to match the front.
Hope the pictures help someone in the future.

Yeah, it wasn't cheap but had to be done. All in all I think I spent around $900, which included powercoating the new subframe, replacement radius arms, new braided brake lines, and e-brake cables. I look at the old parts and can't believe I was driving that down the highway at 70 MPH.
