daytime running lights

Does anyone know how to turn on the daytime running lights on an r53? Do i have to go to a dealer or can i do it myself. My wifes r53 mini has them come on at startup but mine does not.

on a GEN1 this must be programmed by the dealer . . . cost used to be about $45 for a reprogramming no matter how many changes you made so review the list . . .

They can also programs locks to perform diff functions too, some of those features depend on what year it was made.

The 05/06's can have all the door locks unlock when the ignition is turned off Nice feature I couldn't get on my 03'.
