Okay I was @ the Foodlion Auto Fair yesterday and this older lady suckered me in to her booth.

She signed me up for the American Red Cross event on 9/11/2011 between 9:30am - 3pm

If you come and donate your blood or platelets (i think that is spelled right?) you get 3 laps free around the speedway.

Okay I'm sure it is paced and controlled... but I have been surprised several times before @ different tracks. Always go with low expectations and sometimes get really surprised.

Anyway at the minimum .... I at least donate my blood and get Twilight (JCW) a view (tease) of what life could be like if she was a stock car.

Sounds good to me...not so sure about a bunch of people down a pint of blood racing around the track, but I'm up for it!

FYI...they also have 3 laps available the day after Thanksgiving if you donate $25 to their charity.

Damn, I would if I could but had Malaria and hepititus and can not donate anymore. Damn jungles of Vietnam!

I just received a call from Red Cross. Sounds like they are booking for this event. I'm not sure how they are handling walk-in's
