Installing body side moldings in Clubman

Hello.

I purchased a custom made set of body side moldings from www.spoilerdepot.com. They came with the install instructions, did not have any guidelines on how high in the door they should be placed to provide the best protection for my Clubman

Have someone an idea how high they should be?

Thanks.

Ick, really?

Those moldings, if you look at the photoshopped image from that site, are about on the cusp of the door arc.
Easiest way to install is take a buddy and stretch a line of blue-painters tape across the clean car and determine your desired height.
Take in account of angle and how it'll sit across the door and rear quarter panel.
Then measure the height of where your 'tape line' is off know datum points off the car and repeat with the other side.

Hope those things don't whistle as high-cruising speeds...

enatal,

When you get them installed, would you mind posting a picture of them?

Thanks...

Hello All

I've got the mouldings from SpoilerDepot.com but in the wrong color. Returned them for repaint. Neither got the new ones back or refund.

Submitted a complaint to BBB, but SpoilerDepot never responded. Beware of this vendor!
