Well the name is Prickley Pete. The name seems to suit him well. We picked up the MINI on 1.24.04 in Portland OR. My MA was a bit lackluster, I felt like a number being sold another car. No mints on the front seat either. Took her 45 minutes to go over the car. Then she was off to her next customer probably. We did get two Mini pens to sign the contracts though.
What a great car to drive. I am still not used to it. I can tell this is gonna be a lot of fun for a long time.
I have a couple of questions. On the MCS when does the supercharger kick in? Since I am in break in mode, will I not hear that lovely sound till I go over 4500rpm?
Also the car looks waxed from the dealer, is this good for a while or what would you do?
What differences might I expect as the motor becomes broken in?
