The Austin MINI Club is having their June picnic this Sun, Jun12th.

..so far, there looks to be about 30 MINIs RSVPd.

A few of us from San Antonio area are taking a scenic drive up through the Tx Hill Country (about 80 miles) to meet up with them at their event.

..yes, just as Alan linked to (LSMC), but to register on the forum..you have to email the administrator. ...there is chat on there about group drives in the SA/hillcountry area...but not a huge amount of activity on the forum.

The MA from MINIofSA will anounce group drives on that forum...as well as the MINIofSA facebook page.

Also, if you go thru the link in 1st post, the Austin MINI club has lots of things going on regularly...you have to register with them (free) to see & RSVP for events.

A few of us from SA area have been joining thier events..the next event (Burke Rallye) is coming up on Sat, Aug 13. ..I'm already registered

also, check out http://www.minifundrives.com/minifun...com/index.html ..they are based in Houston area...but have a hill country drive scheduled for Oct, 1. ..that could be really good turnout..with MINIs from Houston/Austin/San Antonio areas combined!

Might want to check the posting time... The post above was submitted in 2011. I'll be living in San Antonio for the next two months, are you in any mini club?

 

Yeah, thought I'd drop a line and try to freshen it up. Oh, you moving soon?... Not for MINIs, I just got mine about 2 weeks ago.

 

Living in Germany, but heading to San Antonio for training. I'll be buying a Mini to use while home; my wife will use it later while I'm off in the sand box.

 

New Mini owner here. I live in Houston and would love to come out for this event possible.
