Has anyone blacked out vent surrounds/center display?

Was wondering if anyone blacked out the grey surrounding the vents and the center stack. Trying to see if it would tone down the dash a bit. Perhaps a flat black...

Sides of the rack..were piano black..now carbon fiber. Console will be the same after I finish the re-arranging of the usb/rca plugs and some other minor changes. Pics in the gallery.

Look for the Detroit tuned thread. She had a CM all blacked out inside. Looked nice. In a few days I'm about to do a reveal on my interior changes. It's looking great so far! Its not black... Stay tuned
