I've been trying to find anyone who has mounted 225/50R16 on an R56 and haven't found any that seem too legit. Just want to know wurst size wheels and offset, what brand and model of tire, and your experiences (rubbing?), etc.

try google, with the following search string...

I'd respectfully suggest the /45 would be a better option than the /50
