R52 Does the backup sensor fuse do anything else?
Does the backup sensor fuse do anything else?
On my '06 cabrio, the fuse for the Park Distance Controller (i.e. "Backup Sensor") blows every few weeks. When I replace the fuse, the system works fine until the fuse blows again.
Should I be looking for a short in the Park Distance Controller system itself, or is there some other subsystem that's also covered by the same fuse? I seem to have a foggy recollection that the same fuse powers the power steering pump fan, but I haven't been able to confirm that anywhere.
It's fuse F40, and the only thing depicted on the fusebox cover diagram is the Park Distance Controller.
