What wheels are these?

Does anyone know which wheels are on the Mini below? Really like these and I'm hoping I can get them for my soon to be Mini S.

That's correct, 18" I believe. You can see more of that car on MotoringFile.

Do you know where I can find the car on the site? I tried looking but no luck.

I found a guy that is selling 3 of them cheap locally though, have to see what kind of shape they're in. I thought Mini's had 4 bolts though?

Mini bolt pattern is 4x100, so if those wheels have something different they won't fit.

That used to be Gabes car, one of the writers on Motoringfile. He sold it quite a while ago so you'd have to dig through the archives to find it.

He did bend a few - For that reason, he's a believer in tire/wheel insurance. He talked about it on at least one Woofcast back when he had the car.

I actually found it on the site today! Definitely took some digging. Looks like he had 18" wheels with tire size 215/35/18 on JCW Sport Suspension. There is no way I'm going with that tire size, I had that on my BMW and it was a nightmare with the road conditions here in North NJ. I also can't afford to install JCW sport suspension right now and don't want to modify the suspension on a lease. That car looks perfect to me but I just can't do it.

With that said, any tips on tire/wheel size to get as close as possible to that look on stock suspension? I was thinking 17" wheels with 215/45/17's, but I understand I may have some rubbing. Offset would be around 42 on the wheels I'm looking at. What do you guys think? Maybe I should stay at 205/45/17's?

Right now I have 16" wheels on the car, check out the pic, would the wheel gap stay about the same with the above setup? Thanks!

I had 215/45-17s on my car before I switched to my current setup. I didn't have any rubbing at all, and I was on the JCW suspension at the time.
You won't have any problems with 215s, but you'll still have more wheel gap than in the photos since that car has the JCW suspension which produces about a 0.5 inch drop.

Thanks, that helps. What is your current setup? Do you think with the 215/45/17s the wheel gap will stay about the same as what I have now? If so I wouldn't mind it too much but if it gets any bigger I'd hate it.

I'm running 235/4017 on the Rota RB, 17x7.5. I don't think you'd get more wheel gap if you went with 215/45-17.

Here's the comparison between 215s and 215s (45-17s):

Tire Size Comparison

Specification * Sidewall * Radius * Diameter * Circumference * Revs/Mile * Difference
205/45-17 * 3.6in * 12.1in * 24.3in * 76.2in * 831 * 0.0%
215/45-17 * 3.8in * 12.3in * 24.6in * 77.3in * 819 * 1.5%

I don't know what tire size you have on now but you can compare sizes here to get an idea of what the differences would be:
