Want to see if we can get together for a drive, dinner, and then a drive-in movie. I'd like to shoot for the afternoon of Saturday the 14th.

It'll be somewhat similar to last year, just a month earlier so it won't be quite so warm as last year when we did it in June. We'll meet in the parking lot of the Walmart in Shelbyville. Would like to try to meet up and leave at 4 PM. Drive should last about an hour, give or take a bit.

After the drive we'll have supper at the same BBQ place as last year; Heavenly Barbecue in Estill Springs. Everybody that was there last year seemed to enjoy the food.

Afterward we'll head on over to the Montana drive-in to catch a couple of movies. I should know about a week ahead of time what will be playing there.

I would love to do a Drive-in but my daughter is graduating on the 14th so I will be out of town that day.

 

If going from Shelbyville to Estill Springs you will pass through Tullahoma... why not do a slight detour to The Celtic Cup Coffee House on the corner of Lincoln and N Anderson St and have some great coffee, scones, biscotti, Nutty Apple Jack Cake (house original)... or skip the BBQ and eat here we serve soups, sandwiches, salads. we use fresh herbs from our own garden and bake from scratch. We missed you all at our Cruise-In; hope you had a blast at MOTD.

Just found out what is playing this weekend.

Screen I: Priest, followed by Soul Surfer.

Screen II: Thor: The God Of Thunder, followed by Rio.

Screen III: Fast Five, followed by Your Highness.

Need to hear from those of you who are planning to attend so I can give the BBQ place and the drive-in a heads up on how many are attending.

 

We also have Gelato & Sorbetto, blender drinks like the Nutty Irishman.
You know I'm not just plugging my business... I'm trying to get you to come by so I can see all of your cars!
