ways of getting blackhousing front lights for a JCW

erm... that's pretty shame that ppl cannot have the black housing front lights on a stock MINI JCW, so is that the only way to get one is to pay for a new one from a genuine mini store or dealer? can we just replace it when pick it up from dealer? (asked my dealer, said NO )

Do a search, you’ll find plenty of info.

As to the original OP’s question. You can use the black lights but ONLY if you have Zenon lights already.

If you like a Challenger wing, you may want to look at a company called Group4 Motorsports. They have a wing that looks great.

Searching will get the full description and step-by-step.

For the headlights You take them out of the car and bake them at about 200F for 5-10 minutes and the lens will come off with some steady pressure.

Gas cap, there is a small clip on the chrome gas cap that with light pressure form a small screw driver will allow you to rotate the cap maybe 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn and it comes right off.

The dealer can sell you the black headlights and you swap them out butt he cost is pretty high compared to what it costs for you to bake and paint.
