I've come across 2 different threads...regarding the lower speaker grille on the door panel.

1st thread says you have the remove the door panel to replace the speaker grille.

2nd thread says the speaker grille pops right off with some plastic trim removal tools.

can anyone shed some light on this. pic below is of said grilles, looks like they would just snap in. BTW i have a 2011 R56.

 

Not sure on the 2011 But on the 2007-2008 you have to take the door panel of the get the off.

Your best bet would be to go over to the NAV and AUDIO section and check there that is where the MOST information will be on this particular subject.
