Are these OEM replica wheels to be trusted?
Two of my wheels are slightly bent, thanks to NYC streets, and need to be replaced.
Does anyone have experience with OEM replica wheels? I realize reliability will vary with brand, build quality, material, etc.. Is there a trustworthy brand out there? If I can find something even Rota quality, I'd be happy.
Here are a couple I came across that I like:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-Mi...#ht_4578wt_941
and

Any suggestions? I'm also entertaining a used set of OEM wheels. This would be best, but they can be hard to find locally and there's no guarantee that they will be perfectly straight.

There are a lot of take offs around, but the black you need changes things. Buying 4 from the market here sounds cheaper, or 2 and painting them yourself. Also, on long island there are tons of repair places for rims. Check craigslist. I am sure you can find a cheaper solution.

Was thinking of getting them repaired. It'll probably cost 65-70 per wheel, but my wheels aren't really in great condition to begin with. To justify the cost to repair bends, I'd need them cosmetically repaired as well and that all seems like more hassle than it's worth.
I had a set of OEM replicas on my 330i that you couldn't tell apart from stock. Never had any issues. Just ordered a set of OEM replicas for my 2010 MCS. I'll post if there are any issues but I wouldn't hesitate to buy a set of these.
I'm a fan of replicas as far as looks go. Reliability is usually just as good as OEM and weight is usually similar. The challenge car OEM replicas on eBay for $529 shipped always catch my attention.

Replica wheels are fine in my book. I have a set of R90 replicas that I use for my winter tires. If I trash one its no big deal they are cheap. (money wise)
Just dont use them for Autocross or Track days then will not hold up and they are heavy.
