For some reason, the AM presets all automatically REset to station 930 yesterday.
No problem with the FM presets though. I redid the AM's and so far no problem.
A fluke? A gremlin? or did I hit some magic erase button somewhere?

Yeah, I know......its only AM, but I'm one of the geeks that still listen to some AM programming.

Nothing wrong with AM. I listen to it sometimes. My pioneer had that same problem. It kept reseting to a strange channel that I didn't recieve anything on. I found that the AM antena was loos from the Chassis of the stereo. A quick tightening fixed it. Hope it works.

Cheers,

AM isn't cool anymore? When did that happen?! FM is a fad! Just like that Rock and Roll stuff the kids are listening to nowadays.

Sadly enough, if you want talk radio in my area, it's all AM... and as I have my one unique musical tastes, when it comes to music, it's CD's or my ears start bleeding...

So i just did the auto-program, set it on the only AM station I listen to, and popped in a cd..

(Oh quick, back on topic..) the funny thing is that of all the AM stations in WNY, the only good one is 930... so if this ever happened to me, i'd never notice...

This thread seems to have gotten horribly misdirected from the outset. Time for a restart. I am having the aforementioned problem same as the OP just these last two days. I'll not say on which band so we don't loose focus. Anybody have an idea as to what is going on with my radio?
