Have fun everyone. We had a great time up here. Even if you don't get a tune, stop by and watch. Bring parts, swap stories (no internet police) and have fun.
I have good news and bad news Nick. Someone is going to start one in Ohio right now. The bad news is it is you.
I organized the one in CT, just because I wanted one like you. Here is the process.
Go to your local sub-forum (Mine was northeast). Start a thread that says "who is interested in a RMW tune. Check to see if any have been held near you (so you know a good place), message Jan if not see if he has recommendations. Then just let the list grow. Once there are enough folks, Jan will set a time frame, and you fine tune it.
It wasn't hard and very rewarding.
I used Swift that was used last year. It wasn't close to my house, but rather very close to the middle between Boston and NY. I figured that would make more folks within a reasonable drive. You might want to do the same. Folks who post in your thread may have dyno recommendations.
Basically, you can do it. Just give it a shot.

I had hoped to try and make this event, but lack of funding has forced me to delay doing so (i.e. spent too much before and at MOTD). I will be checking the forums in the future for whenever the next tuning session comes about. You all have fun and enjoy. I finally got to meet Jan at MOTD this year. He's a great guy and cool MINI enthusiast.
