BCDS Annual show will be June 12th at Frank Lisk Park located at 4001 Stough Rd, Concord NC. The Feature Marque is the MINI. Would like to see a strong showing from our club. Club tents no larger than 14 x 14 and personal tents no larger than 8 x 8,, Registration is $20 in advance $25 day of show. Awards, vendors/food raffle will be available. Come out to the park and have some fun!

Is this the one that I did a couple of years ago when I got eaten by chiggers and the grass, or shall I say weeds, were mid knee high?

 

I don't know but you healed up well! I am going and looking for someone to bring one of my Mini's. Want to drive the BLUCOOPR here your chance. Also TALLMAN don't forget me if you come. Bring the stuff you want to get rid of and I will use it. Hopefully the weather will be great again and not to hot or wet.

 

Are we meeting someplace and going in to the event as a group or are we on our own??

 

I'm sure they will have all the Minis parked together, so we can just go solo and meet on the field.

The $20 is to compete in the car show, spectating is free I believe.

What time does this start?

 

Wow, except for the heat a truly awesome event. Took about 200 pics, some beautiful Minis but I think my favorite car there was the unrestored TVR that had spent 20+ years stuck next to some goat pens.

 

Missed this event but as I was driving through Harrisburg, I saw Luke, then Bruiser, then Audrey all within a couple of miles.

Glad you all had fun... I stayed by the pool all day... too freakin’ hot.

I woke up too late to come out and play!

 

This was a fun event, but boy was it hot out there. Congrats to Mark and Luke for bringing home some trophies.

 

How hot was it, well a crow flew over the Hendrick tent and its shadow stuck to the top! Had a great time never drank so much green tea and ice water in my life, think my pipes are rusting.

Sorry I didn't make it out there... was going to but ended up having to fix the filter for the pool before the frogs claimed it as their own. I still have that cover for you (I think.) I'll try to dig it out and I'll catch up with you at some point.
