I have an 07 mcs have read through the threads for the answer and have not relay found it. When runing catless you will get a cel. When this happens does it put the car in to limp mod?

Before I get blasted about not have a ap it's winter in Cleveland I can fad the exhaust now. With in the next few month I plain to have an ap so at that point this will be mut. But in the mean time I have scan gauge to clear cels with till then.

You will only got a CEL if you eliminate the first cat on the downpipe. I believe the 02 sensor is located just after the cat therefore causing a CEL if eliminated. "No Limp Mode".

I eliminated my second cat and resonator when I installed a custom 3" Magnaflow exhaust system. I haven't received any CELs. I love the exhaust note! I do get drone when driving at highway speeds. I most drive locally so this is not an issue with me.

On a Whole this is the only Mod I have done that has really transformed my Mini into a quick, mean sounding little Bugger! 8-)

 

Nope, i drove with it for like a 9 months, you will get codes for the car running lean sometimes, but mostly cat below effectiveness, or a heater circut malfunction
