380cc Enough With tune? or 450cc

Hey guys I'm most likely getting my car tuned next month and I've been thinking about which injectors I should buy to go along with my mods.

Now with the 380cc I'm not sure if they will be enough when tuned but I do know that I can at least run them with out the tune.

Now the 450cc I'll have to install on them right be for I get the tune... Which means I drive 3 hours then bust out the tools and hopefully successfully swap them out before it's my turn on the dyno lol. Pain in the butt but it would allow me breathing room for future mods but I don't think I'll be doing much more then what I already have

So will the 380cc be enough for these mods with a tune?

17%
Alta cai
Alta exhaust
0% light weight crank

And if so does any one have a set of the jcw 380 cc injectors hanging around that they would be willing to sell to me for a fair price?

Thanks guys!

380cc will be fine for what you currently have with a little wiggle room for future mods. If you do have plans to do some head work/cam then I'd want to go with a set of 440cc so I'm not running the 380cc at 100% duty all the time.

I would just go for the bigger ones now. Ask Jan if he thinks the 450s will be OK for your setup. They cost the same, if it works now, they will work in the future as you add things.

That's what I would do anyway.

Just don't forget, if you go for 450cc or larger, you will have to do a tune immediately after installation. If you get the 380cc injectors, you can install them until you get a chance to get the tune done. Post some dyno numbers when you're done!

Yes with your mods the 380's are fine and are also enough to give you a slight rpm bump (7200 red line) if you so desire. The real question is what are your future plans, if you don't see a head or cam in the near future (year or so) if not stick with the 380's.

440's and 550's will of course work and are great if you need or will need them, and it only takes 20 to 30 min. to do the swap (do yourself a favor and get to the tune @ least an hour early to let the car cool down) and if you do use them don't forget the tune being a must with these and you can in no way let the ecu be put back to stock or updated by a dealer without swapping the injectors back. If you go with the 380's if something goes wrong and your ecu does get reset it will adapt to the 380's well enough on it's own.

My experience with my tune....
380's worked fine...I am happy...and I know that my car can/will run on a stock tune if i ever have to go back...
BUT...
Jan did say he was limited a bit by fuel...a bit more would have let him get me a few more HP...
Since I was not going for MAX hp, just a good, safe, street-able tune, with good TQ, No big deal...
So it depnds on your goals, and the quality of the injectors...
The JCW's are a know quanity, look and fit OEM (they are)....so I went with them..my car is a DD. If it was a 2nd car...the other ones might have made more sense.
Also if you do the swap at the tune...let the car sit for a few hours so it is cool (4 or so IMO). the injector swap was pretty easy with new ones with new o-rings..used inj's..plan ahead..put new ones on/buy them before you go....a few folks HAVE had issues with injectors getting stuck due to corrosion....so one thing to consider,
