Blinder M27 Laser Jammer Installer in Vancouver
Blinder M27 Laser Jammer Installer in Vancouver
Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone in the Vancouver area knows of anyone who can install this Blinder laser jammer. I purchased one off eBay but don't want to attempt the install myself as I know nothing about electronics and cars. Anyone want to do it for me? I'll pay kindly of course. Or does anyone know of any installers in the Vancouver area?

Nope, they are perfectly legal to sell, own, and have in your vehicles in BC and Alberta Canada. In some instances, if you get caught using it, some police are smart enough to find them on your car and charge you for interupting an officers equipment. But otherwise, perfectly legal to have in your car.
Just wondering if anyone has had any success installing one and any tips so I don't mess up my car.
Also, I just spoke with 2 Vancouver police officers and they told me that had almost no knowledge of laser jammers and if they came across a car with one, they wouldn't do much. They might send your car for an inspection, but thats about it.

All finished. Here are a few pictures.

He had to cut a larger portion of the bottom grill to fit the harnest.

The on/off switch fit perfectly in the cigarette lighter slot which I will never use.

The LED light also fit perfectly into that extra button slot. Looks really stealth!

i used to have it, it will do good with good grill space. i had to get rid of my bc of bad punchthrough in headlights. i'm planning to get laser interceptors install in my mini. its very easy to install for anyone who is thinking about do it. usually takes about a hour or so depends on the vehicle type and access through the alignment of the heads. hopefully ur heads are level and straight, that isd very important. good luck and happy speeding

So it's officially been tested. It works great. The LIDAR gun couldn't detect a speed until I was 30 metres away and slowed down to 30 km/h. I have two installed beside each license plate. I found after about 10 tests, the laser jammer started to beep and flash like crazy because I think it may have started to overheat. Then it didn't work right after. So I turned it off then on, and tried again and it worked fine.
