Clubman S Spare Tire Well - Pics?

Hey all...I'm in week 2 of my custom order wait period, and have been searching here and on Google for pictures of the spare tire well under the false floor of the Clubman S boot.

I have 6+ weeks to wait, so thought I should begin my brainstorming and planning a subwoofer install. I would like to know what I have to work with so I can consider or rule out my ideas.

Would one of you fine Clubman S owners (or Cooper Clubman...spare removed) please post a picture of the spare tire well for me? My Google-fu is weak, so if anybody has a pic of this area and could post, I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

I have a 2009, but I'm pretty sure it's the same. The well is large enough to fit a space saver tire if you want to carry one - mine's just got a few odds and ends in it - cleaners, extra quart of oil and such. The foam orgainzer comes out.

Pics in a minute.

Thanks MINIDave. Of course it would be smarter to keep that area for practical storage of an emergency kit...but I will most likely be using that area for a subwoofer enclosure.

Any idea how deep it is? Space Saver tires are normally no more than about 6" wide by a little over 21" diameter. I also assume there's a bulge in the center of that area where a stud would go through the space saver rim to be wing-nutted down?

Thanks for the pic.

Boss 600 is the subwoofer that fits like a GLOVE in there it's uncanny how the final install looks like. I think my gallery has the pic - I'll ake another one today if I remember.

How so? I thought maybe the audio guys would have more interest in taking pics of potential subwoofer locations than the standard Clubman forum users.

Thanks, Ishman. What I was really hoping for were decent pictures of the 'empty' spare tire well. What's it look like with nothing in there?

I already have a sub and amp from a different project, and really wanted to get an idea of the space available.

I do really appreciate you taking the time to take and post your pictures.
