This is the new app that goes along with the mini... i highly recommend it as i use it for downloading music on my phone all the time but if someone could plz do a review on it for how well it intergrates with the mini connected then that would be great. As it is only being released today March 14, 2011, I doubt any one at this time has even played with it as they have not been able to get it.

Customer service said late summer. That was as close as they would tell me.

 

Anyone know when i can hook this up to my car. im tired of going threw the multimedia part of the car and having to change songs on my phone

 

Going into dealer tomorrow and will ask if there is an update to Mini connected firmware. I use MOG on iPhone and it absolutely wonderful (better than Spotify, others, etc.). It streams at 320 kbps so quality is good.

 

Latest word from MOG customer service, earlier today:

"It is coming in the next few weeks, we will be emailing all our subscribers and also posting it on our blag which can be found at http://blog.mog.com/"

 

I've actually been talking to a MOG employee directly. They said they have been ready for months but it is BMW that is causing the delay issues and they continuously have been pushing it back.

It was slated for mid-October but now has been pushed yet again. MOG says it is now slated for November 7th tentatively but this date still has yet to be approved by BMW.

If I hear more I will let you guys know.

 

Update is now out. Haven't tried it yet, but downloaded it tonight. Compatibility with MINI/BMW should be available.

 

Yeah we opened up anoth thread for this. I've been loving the app for 3 days now
