Prior Design R53 Front Bumper
Well, after having my JCW aero bumper on for less than 4 weeks, I was involved in small front end collision, and my JCW bumper is now trashed
I could potentially go back to my stock front bumper, but I am considering the Prior Design front bumper. Does anyone else have one of these, and have any thoughts on the fit and finish?

Is Ociari of Italy still in business Vollgas ?
I came up 0 when I Googled them. Looking for a front bumper as well.
If you find them MINI Berg, LMK maybe we can split shipping costs ?

1) ProMINI also carries the Ociari, but IMO is ugly.
2) NO such thing as a "JCW Aero bumper" or a "JCW bumper" concerning first gen MINIs. It is simply known as the "Aerodynamics Body Kit" aka "Aero Kit."
3) Get another AERO bumper and enjoy the best looking, and cheapest aftermarket bumper available (while still enjoy high quality).

Ground Dynamics sells a similar front bumper (Oracle... maybe the same as Orciari?), but I'm not sure if it would work with my stock grille: http://www.grounddynamics.com/Oracle...2-06mcorfk.htm

So I called Prior Design, and they have unbelievably courteous customer service. I called this morning (Saturday) from an auction I saw on ebay, and no one picked up (because I'm in FL, and it they are in CA, and weren't there yet). Didn't leave a message because I thought I would just call back later.
One of there reps saw the missed call, gave me a call that afternoon, and asked me if I had any questions, etc, and went over product specifics and shipping etc.
Really friendly, and said I could just call them direct to place an order instead of going through Ebay.

bfromhold, not sure what's going on with your notifications..
Regardless, I'm thinking about splurging for the Prior front bumper if I can sell enough stuff in time (I have rims and Madness header for sale in the marketplace FYI haha). Should look nice with my aero side skirts. I have my arches painted Astro Black metallic to contrast my Dark Silver paint, and I think I would continue that theme onto the Prior Design bumper.
I will think all of this over, and be sure to post pictures if I decide to pull the trigger.

Thanks but I don't think Pro-mini sells them anymore, I already checked with them this past October.
I agree with the opinions...lol The prior design just looks very ricer-fan-boi-ish to me...
And...wow....about promini. I could have sworn i saw them offering the Ocari products up to a couple of weeks ago, BUT they are in fact no longer on the site. So i am willing to bet you are very correct.

The krone does look very nice! Too bad I am in a hurry to get a new bumper and probably couldn't wait it out to import one of those...

More than likely, I could go this route, as these are in stock in the US. At least they are made in Germany and TUV approved, so there has to be some level of quality and such.

with that said maybe we could order together and get a discount but more importantly we can save on shipping. i see your in the tampa area. i live in west palm beach but have a house in clearwater as well. i have no problem driving up there to pick up the bumper to save on shipping costs.

Jump N Jive sounds good. I just emailed them tonight, but I will give them a call tomorrow and see what they have to say. Since this ships freight, I'm sure we could save a little money.
I believe they said it would be about $125 freight shipping (to business address). We could prob save a lot off of that. I could potentially ship it to my body shop and then take the extra bumper back to my house.
We'll def keep in touch.

Well my bumper will be delivered to the body shop on Friday, and hopefully pictures will be posted next week! I'm somewhat excited to see how it turns out myself!
