So you want to learn how to drive fast?
So you want to learn how to drive fast?
Then check out the May 1, 2011
SCCA Test and tune Event at Aloha stadium.
You can get more info at SCCAHawaii.org
Save the date and get your MINI ready.
No need to upgrade anything just finish your break in miles and don't bring worn out tires.
Closed shoes required and valid full driver's license. If you are under 18 then consent by both parents is required on SCCA release of liability form.
The event runs allday and you work one hour but drive the rest with break for lunch. Instructors available all morning and open driving on an autocross course set up just like in competition.

See how you do compared to your friends (if they sign up too) or vs other experienced drivers.
This is not high speed like track, it's more car control and speeds up to about 45 to 50 mph for the more powerful cars.
The course is setup to be safe to drive on to avoid problems.
No passengers until after lunch when instructors sign off on new drivers.
No drifting allowed.
Spectators are free just pay for parking at the Stadium lot.
Hope to see you there.

There is still time to sign up for driving in this instructional SCCA event for all cars but would be well suited for any MINI owner.
Great for kids to learn the limits of driving in a safe environment.
Or great for that wannabe racer you have at home tired of speed limits.
