There are no Springs that will go that low. You need to look into coilovers. How much are you looking to spend?

If you want to be that low this is your cheapest option new: http://www.stratmosphere.com/mini_drivetrain.htm

You can find better options used IMO. I have been lucky finding great deals on used coilovers. My last set I got for 70% off with only 2000 miles on them.

Side note: I'm not trying to discourage you in any way (My mini is lowered just over 3"). But being that low will have noticeable effects on streetability. You will scrape your underbody on every speed bump/ large dip in the road. Your oil pan and downpipe will occasionally grind, grab on things. Your factory jack points probably won't last long and of course the ride will be pretty harsh.

I only bring these up because for different genres of cars lowering 3" means different things. I used to be into lowered trucks where you would go 6-7" lower before running into these types of side effects. Good Luck!

Oh man get some VMAXX coilovers and you're at about $650. You won't have the incredible handling characteristics of the KW coilovers they try to imitate, but you'll be slammed.

That is really low! You need to be careful. With the inter cooler that low any road debris could be really bad! My car is about 1.5 inches lower than stock. I ran something over it bent my inter-cooler and cracked the fiberglass frame that holds all the stuff on the front of the car in place. If it wasn't for insurance it would of cons about 2k. You must not race or anything?

Interestingly, this is spot on. If you use no springs it will go that low.
Take the springs off and the bump stops, too, and just ride the struts directly on the upper shock mount.

The ABF spec Eibachs will drop it low, but not so low you lose proper suspension geometry.
These are fully proven to handle performance as well as make the car look good.
We did a 1.27 at SoW CW with a stock JCW and these springs. They run about $300.

BlckJCWGhst's mini looked really nice, but if you guys say that too low will cause damage and what not than i think ill consider with Mikes ABF spec Eibachs idea. Do you think there is asignificant difference between the H&R Springs 200$ and the one you stated Mike? And if later on I want lower, I am going to go with the VMAXX coilovers.

Honestly The Only Damage That My Coils Caused Was A Tear " Rip " In A High Pressure A/C Line Around The D/S Axle. This Is Being Solved By Running The Hose In A Different Area As The Hose Is Flexible Kinda Needless To Say You Can Always Play With The Ride Hight And The Camber Plates To Get That Perfect Height And Stance.... Why Waste Money On Springs When You Are Just Going To Get Bored And Eventually Go To Coils Anyways ? You'd Be Losing Money And Time In The Uninstallment ( If Thats Even A Word ) Of Your Springs. At That Point You Will Wish You Had Gonne With The Coils First.... Like I Did Lol...

BlckJCWGhst car does look good and I'm not a total hater when it comes to H&R. However the RSS are priced on average $900 ( $1400 normally ) more than the O/P stated budget. Also if i was going to spend that kind of money on shocks and springs i would want them to do more then just be height adjustable. Aside from that they are really no different then putting springs on your stock shocks. As far as the $200 springs H&R produces you will not get any more then about an inch drop. I have removed a few of these from customer cars as they did little more then what a factory JCW spring does already.

I would rather go with cheap quality coilovers than really low springs. I'm sorry, but you cannot lower the MINI that much and improve grip. Handling might be improved, due to low centre of gravity and a LOT of bumpstop involvement, but I'm highly against lowering on stock shocks, unless you go with double the spring rate and maybe 1/2" lower, and even that's pushing it.

In short, go get the VMAXX coilovers.

Yeah Thats True For That Price You Can Probably Get Something Better That Gives You More Options... That Is Why I Didnt Buy My Suspension New A Fellow NAM Member Gave Me On A Good Deal On This Setup That I Could Not Pass Up So I Took It, If I Wanted To Go All Out I Would Go With CROSS, Then Again You Are On A Budgett So Shop Wisely And Do Some Good Reasearch !

Ahh, thanks! I really like the look.. one more reason to save up some cash for a JCW I am getting a set of Konig Rush next week and they look sort of similar.
