Quicksilver exhaust installed and love it!

For the simple pleasures of driving, nothing beats a great sounding exhaust to me like just cruising through a parking lot or hammering it on an on-ramp. Quicksilver exhaust to me, is the best sounding and performing exhaust. Minus the fact that AT&T charged me over a dollar a minute to call England, the people at Quicksilver were very polite, enthusiastic, and very prompt with my order. They shipped it from England Friday, and I received it by 8am Monday Fed Ex! Install is a breeze, even if done in the home garage. One clamp to take off, then slip of the old exhaust, and install the new exhaust with a total of 3 clamps that includes the one for the tips! They even supplied pipe sealant to ensure no leaks at no additional charge. Not even my $1200 Corsa exhaust for my former Pontiac G8 GT didn't come with that! Packaging, fit, and finish was perfect and I love the sound! NO drone at all at 60 or 70 mph, quiet during top gear motoring, then blip the throttle and downshift and a great roar comes from the back. Turbo spools much faster as well and it passes emissions here with no problems in North Carolina! I made a video of my car today, it was around 65 degrees F and I've now had the exhaust with about 300 miles of spirited driving. Here is the link

Overall, I couldn't be happier, next up, see Dan at Grassroots for some suspension updates before track day in April at CMP!

It was 100 British pounds, or about $150 for next day depending on the exchange rate. Thanks for the compliment, it took me and a buddy 4 hours to put on the graphics!

Awesome job, and diggin the 65* !

Get the ECU tweaked when you can by someone who knows what they are doing. Makes a huge difference on how well those parts work for you.

Sounds excellent! I'm currently torn with buying a JCW system or going the quicksilver route.

Must say the videos of the quicksilver have seemed to swayed my decision as it sounds phenomenal!

Any droning, complaints/comments?

Interested to hear

Zero droning issues at top gear cruise at either 45-50mph, 63mph, or 73 mph, since that is usually the speed I'm going on either highways or back roads with cruise control engaged. Gas mileage has gone up 1.6 mpg according to my trip computer since the install. As in the video, it's quite quiet at cruise at 60 mph, but drop down to 3rd and gun it and you can instantly hear it. My girlfriend even says she really likes it, and she is 47! Says its sounds really angry! You can also really hear the turbo spool up now especially at high RPMs. Tires spin freely now 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. That can be a bad point since tires aren't cheap! LOL. The install was simple and fast, biggest headache was getting the one OEM clamp off, than rest of install took about 10 minutes.
