Factory installed NAV - can't enter addresses

Hi there

I tried a quick search, but couldn't find a response.

For some reason, I can no longer manually enter a new address into my factory installed navigation system.

It worked fine this morning, and now won't accept the "down click" - to enter new details for city / street etc.

In all other ways, the NAV / entertainment system input *** thing works fine.

Thanks in advance for any leads!

The only suggestion I have to to disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for 30 minutes or more. Everythign in the car is Computer Controlled and as you know sometime computers just act up.

I do know that some of the computers in the car can hold a charge for as much as 30 minutes to completely discharge. So try that and see if it fixes the problem.

I don't have a MINI Nav, but on my other vehicles, one needs to either have it in Park, or have the parking brake set, to enter an address.
