came across this on youtube...can't say I'm particularly impressed. It'll get a lot of attention for its foreign rep, name and styling and fuel consumption initially, but it doesn't do much for me--its lumpy looking, a lot taller than the MINI's.

Yep, it is "lumpy looking and taller than the MINI's"....and it looks FANTASTIC....I love it....can't wait to swing a drive in one.

i want to like it, really, but its just got an odd shape for me, I too am curious about how it'll drive though, since it's taller I'm curious about wind noise and what the handling will be like. But then a portion of me really doesn't want to like it because I love my MINI too much to be possibly obsessed with another type of vehicle. Let us know if you are able to test drive!

I wanted to love it SO MUCH. I almost ordered one blindly last year instead of going from R50 to R56.

After seeing/sitting in one at the Chicago Auto Show, I'm SO GLAD I didn't go through with it. The size is fine - I love the smallness of it. But the interior is so cheap feeling...it was like a Fiat with a Kia interior. I was so disappointed

I checked them out at the Grand Rapids MI auto show. Much surface excitement but didn't feel substantial. I'm all for more small cars on the road but this is no MINI replacement.

My wife, who is taller than me, sat in the passenger side and her head hit the roof. The seat couldn't be lowered because there is a subwoofer under it! That's the wrong place to compromise.
