CNBC will be sending a 4 person crew to cover our MOTD to be part of a one hour documentary there are working on for BMW and MINIs.

Got this in the MOTD email update, but could not find any mention on the MOTD site, but sounds interesting, anybody know anything more abot this?

 

I was contacted on Feb. 3rd from a producer at CNBC saying they are doing a one hour documentary on the BMW and MINIs. They are doing some of the work in hand with BMW, but thought it would be nice to include something outside of the main coporation, somthing more grassroots. After doing some searching on the internet they found my site www.minisonthedragon.com and contacted me. They should be flying down and arriving on Wednesday and leaving on Sunday.

 

That's great they are coming.. Hopefully a segment on TV will bring a few more MINI's or mini's to MOTD next year

 

Any idea of air-time? I'd like to DVR

Well just got a disappointing phone call. CNBC had some scheduling conflicts and will not be attending our event They were in England last week filming the WRC Countryman and were supposed to head to Germany, but that leg got messed up and they had to reschedule during our event :(

 

fail :( they don't know what there missing..maybe we could send them a few of our own photos like the panoramic photo. That would still be fun
