Sirius install... Where should I mount it...

Im installing a sirius portable player in my R56. Does anyone have any good places to mount it so it has easy access and its not in the way of the cconsole? I have my phone mount mounted to the far right lower portion of my speedo. Its out of the way luckily. Im trying not to clutter up the dash to much. Im thinking about mounting it to the windshield around the roofline. Does anyoe have any pictures or ideas they could share? Thanks alot... Mike

PS. Its a Stratus 6 that They are sending me with the car install kit.

You have many options with that. Many have put something similar down below the window switches others have mounted it off the tach and othere use a windshield mount and I have even seen one mounted to the A pillar.

Just search around here and you will find all kinds of information on these different installs.

And the option you mentioned of mounting it near the roof line of the windshield is also a good one.

Or you could mount it up to the roof console. See pics here of a PC monitor install for an idea of what I am talking about.

I put installed Sirius in my R53. I bought a wicked mount off this site.

I've attached some pix of it installed. I just ran the antenna wire through the glove box and tucked the antenna receiver on the corner of the dash and window on the passenger side. Works perfect!

I like the idea of the proclip, but I don't like the fact it is not removable when the Satellite is not in use (or not in the car).

Since I have a cabrio, I am worried about attracting unnecessary attention when I leave the top down for a few minutes as I run into a store.
