1991 + 1992 Volvo 740s (awful cars).

2008 Astra

Only thing I don't like about Mini is the Astra was a much better colour than anything Mini has.

'07 M Coupe. The last of the truly sporting BMWs. Pure bliss. And still my first love, sharing garage space with my MCS.

My first new car.. 1986 Honda CRX.

It was a great car till the day I test drove a MINI.
Then it was slow, sloppy handling, and no fun.

My 04 Chrysler Sebring Convertible hits Craig's List as soon as my MCS gets here, most likely mid March (currently enjoying a wonderful Atlantic Cruise). Hopefully we will be in the middle of a nice warm spell and folks will be itching to pick up a good looking convertible.

I've been driving a 2004 Honda Accord for 7 years now. A boring, generic, but reliable car. I can't wait to drive an exciting, fun car once my 2011 CM-S arrives!

Oh boy, if I list em all it will be a long list. However the car I drove and traded in for the MINI was a 2008 Honda Accord. Great car, lots of room, and good mileage. But it just didn't have the fun factor that the MINI has.

1999 BMW M Roadster.
I occasionally miss the straight-line acceleration and the top-down fun; but the '09 JCW Coupe is just as enjoyable, and has a bit more practicality to it.

A 2008 Rav4 v6 AWD Sport, which I really loved... I miss it sometimes, but the MINI is so much more fun.

I purchased the E90 via ED in 2006 and sold it about 6 months ago. I have a 4Runner and am hoping to take delivery of a 2011 Cooper S tomorrow.
I just wish I could have done an European Delivery on the Mini. I'll keep the 4Runner for off the road stuff in northern Arizona and southern Utah.
I've owned a ~1970 Ford Capri , 1975 VW Scirocco, 1987 4WS Honda Prelude, AND a 1960 Series I Sunbeam Alpine .

!st my 57 Chev, and then my 78 Porsche SC Coupe

After awhile, driving a car that is getting up in years tends to make you not want to drive too far away from home. Whats going to break next ?

So after the Porsche got to be 32 years old , but still a top running machine
I gave in to my inner voice . . . . . . . . . . . BUY THE MINI YOU FOOL !

I have loved this car since I saw the first "Italian Job" but could not get into driving on the right side of the car. . . . . . . Now that problem is fixed !

I just smile every time I get behind the wheel ! ! !
